Description Kite school
Posada is an absolute insider tip located on the east coast of Sardinia between the towns of San Teodoro and La Caletta. The wide bay of Posada offers plenty of space for all water sports enthusiasts and also for launching and landing kites. The conditions are mostly side-onshore, so Posada is a very safe and great area for beginners. The spot is also ideal for foiling, as there are no stones in the water, no sandbanks, but very constant wind. Posada works great in south-east (with local thermals) and north-east directions. In the high season, to protect bathers, the kite zone at the Nido surf school must be used for entry.
The view from the water of the lagoon and the medieval village of Posada is unique. There are two nice bars at the spot, so you can have an after-surf drink and lunch. At the Nido Surf surf school you can book courses for all levels and rent kite, wing and windsurfing equipment. The SUP and kayak tours on the Rio Posada are also a highlight.
