Every year, numerous exciting kite events take place in Germany. The 2024 season also promises to be an exciting kite year with a variety of competitions, festivals and testivals. Here is a brief overview of our favorite kitesurfing events taking place in Germany this summer.

California Kitesurfing Masters

Date: 14 - 18 August 2024
Location: St. Peter-Ording
Kite spot: Ordinger Beach

The Kitesurf Masters are the official German kitesurfing championship series. The series consists of several tour stops on the North and Baltic Seas, where the best German kite surfers fight for the title. The last stop in this series will take place in St. Peter Ording in 2024 and, in addition to exciting competitions, also offers a varied supporting program for visitors: testival, exhibition of the top kite brands and much more.

Kitesurfing World Cup Sylt

Kiting, fun and action on Germany's largest North Sea island - the Kitesurf World Cup on Sylt is one of the most famous kitesurfing events in the world. This event attracts the best kitesurfers in the world and offers spectacular competitions in the disciplines of wave and strapless freestyle . The island of Sylt, with its ideal wind and water conditions, offers the perfect backdrop for this top-class event. Kite Festival Fehmarn

Date: 22 - 25 August 2024
Location: Fehmarn

The Kite Festival on the island of Fehmarn is also a highlight for kitesurfing fans and families. In addition to spectacular competitions, there are numerous workshops where beginners and advanced surfers can improve their skills. A colorful supporting program with yoga, music, food trucks and children's entertainment makes the festival an experience for all ages.
